Information We Collect

User-Provided Information Through Other Third-Party Integrations

Our Service may allow you to connect your third-party accounts, including your financial accounts, to your Billout account on the mobile app and website. We use several technology providers and other third party integrations to provide our service, features and functionalities to you. In order to connect your third party accounts to your Billout account, you must expressly authorize such connection when first registering your account or at a later time through your account settings. You may terminate this connection at any time through your account settings.

When you connect your third party accounts to our services, you give Billout and the third party integration the authority to act on your behalf to access and transmit your information from the relevant bank or other entity that provides your accounts. The information we receive from the entities that maintain your accounts varies depending on the information made available by those entities. Examples of the types of information we receive from financial accounts include financial account information, information about account balance, information about credit accounts, information about loan accounts, information about investment accounts, identifiers and information about account owners, information about account transactions, and employment information.

Please note that Billout is not responsible for any third party’s privacy practices, and we strongly encourage you to review their privacy policies before connecting your third party accounts with our services. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data provided through any third parties you connect to the Service.


Use Of Your Information

Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. The information we collect about you is also for us to adhere to best practices and to ensure we comply with standard due diligence processes required by law. 

Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the app to:

  • Partners, Vendors, and Advertisers. We share information in connection with offering co-branded services, selling or distributing our products, engaging in joint marketing activities, or providing advertising on our Service. 
  • Promotions. Our promotions may be jointly sponsored or offered by other parties. When you voluntarily enter a promotion, we share information as set out in the official rules that govern the promotion as well as for administrative purposes and as required by law (e.g., on a winners list).
